Liverpool is well renowned for its musical and acting talent as well as its rich heritage and fantastic shopping, which is why it is one of the most popular UK destinations and one of our faves. Liverpool’s world-famous Cavern Club has recently celebrated its 55^th birthday, known as the birthplace of The Beatles Cavern Club who made a massive 292 appearances. The club originally opened its doors in 1957 and was the first venue in Liverpool dedicated to live popular music and now over half a century later the club is still welcoming tribute bands and original acts 7 days a week. To mark this special birthday events have been planned throughout the year to celebrate the anniversary of the incredible music venue that has changed the lives of so many. No trip to Liverpool is complete without a visit to this legendary musical venue which is buzzing with history.

 

Liverpool is hugely popular for its shopping and fashion and in February the Liverpool Fashion Festival will be held at the Aintree Racecourse with a huge turnout expected. Confirmed brands attending this event include Reiss, Ted Baker, Karen Millen and House of Fraser. This spectacular festival will have fashionistas flocking from all over the UK to enjoy live runways, boutique fashion fair, music and entertainment over four evenings.
